Curves Made in Heaven

YOU must be doing something right when people drive from as far away as Wollongong, Mudgee and the Southern Highlands to visit your shop at Wetherill Park.

Long-distance customers are a regular sight at Heavenly Curves, a bra-lingerie-swimwear-accessories store created by Maria Silvestri at Fairfield.

She has successfully identified a niche for the "fuller woman" or in her words - "The real woman, what we see as everyday sizes."

Maria says the major department stores stock little variety when it comes to larger size garments.

She approached major brands locally and overseas to develop a huge range which includes bras, swimwear, bridal wear such as corselettes and lingerie, maternity bras and accessories, (took G –string out) corsets, sexy lingerie, sleepwear, hosiery, resort wear and even fancy dress costumes.

Maria believes she has the largest range on the market with bras from sizes 6-26 and varying cup sizes from D through to K and swimwear from sizes 10-30.

"Because I specialise in looking after the real woman I have a large number of elegant designs, styles to suit all ages and occasions, and a lovely colour range," she says.

"My customers are willing to travel so far because they love the personal service.”

Maria has developed her own bra design and this is now available alongside the major brands.

Maria's efforts have been recognised as a winner in the Fairfield Local Business Awards 2009 and 2011, and a State Finalist in the NSW Small Business Champion Awards. She is also a finalist in the current Fairfield City Small Business Awards.

Heavenly Curves has an online store and offers flat rate shipping Australia wide or you can meet Maria at Market Town, The Horsley Drive, Wetherill Park.
