BUSINESS SUPPORT ON THE AGENDA

EXPO an opportunity engage
SUPPORTING local businesses is high on the agenda of the Blue Mountains Regional Business Chamber.

The annual Blue Mountains Business Expo on May 2 is one such example where about 60 local businesses will be showcased.

Chamber president Mark Barton said the expo was an opportunity for the community to support local small businesses including not for profit organisations, financial services businesses, graphic designers and health care services. There will also be travel service providers, professional coaching services and insurance providers.

“The expo is about supporting local business and that is something the Chamber aims to do in several ways, the expo is just one,” Mr Barton said.

“Our annual business awards are another opportunity and so too are our regular networking events that business people attend to promote their business and mingle with others.

“We also offer training courses and masterclasses to create educational opportunities for our members.

“The Chamber is an ideal setting for local businesses to receive support and we encourage small businesses to sign up. You’re really joining a club of people that really want to make businesses in the Blue Mountains successful.”
