PARRAMATTA PROPERTY SHAKE-UP

LJ Hooker Parramatta rebrands to Belle
AFTER 20 years operating as LJ Hooker, leading Parramatta real estate family, the Sahyoun’s have joined Belle Property from February 2018.

Being the first time that the Belle Property brand has opened in Parramatta, George, Nathan and Chris Sahyoun said the move represents a shift in the local marketplace towards a more premium real estate offering.

“It’s a big strategic move for us. The market is becoming more sophisticated so, as we look to the future, we want to develop our technology, marketing and social interactions as well as move into a regional hub. We started looking for a franchise that was still committed to its core values, has an affinity to the marketplace and is a premium brand because we believe there is a fundamental gap in Parramatta,” George said.

“We did a lot of research. We’ve been established in Parramatta for a long time and we looked at every brand out there,” Nathan added.  “The needs of our customer are changing and we need to be doing things bigger, better, faster and smarter.”

A family owned and led business, George, Chris and Nathan will transition a team of 25 people, a rent roll of more than 2,000 properties and a high performing sales operation from LJ Hooker to the Belle Property network.

“We are focused on the customer experience and ensuring our service levels are premium and unrivalled – throughout the transition we will make sure we maintain a very happy team, client base and community,” George said.

Born and bred locals, the Sahyoun family is prominent within the Parramatta business community and pride themselves on their business acumen.

“Our biggest ambition for the next 12 months is embedding the Belle Property way into the service we provide our clients – that will be our biggest success for 2018 and we would be prouder of that than writing millions for dollars each month,” Nathan said.

Peter Hanscomb, CEO of Belle Property said the opening of Parramatta was as much about the people as it was about the location.

“We have seen Parramatta go through such a transformation – the growth in the market, the changing demographic and how much investment has come into the area. Parramatta has become an important location for Belle Property but it was really important who we went to Parramatta with,” he said.
