Stephanie champions a higher cause for women

FOR many young people the gap between finishing high school and working to achieve their lifelong dream spans years.

Stephanie Gittany, owner of Black Pearl Events followed a different path.

With the type of determination rarely witnessed in a teenager, Stephanie completed her business degree with a double major in event and hospitality management.

With the desire for organising such unique events, her passion has led her to achieve her goal of creating her own business, Black Pearl Events; the mother company of Sydney’s latest phenomenon The What Women Want Expo.

Working as private event coordinator since the later years of University, Stephanie is determined to create an experience for her clients, rather than just an event.

Her time had come, after being crowned Committees Choice Winner in one of Sydney’s most renowned National Beauty Pageants.

It was at that moment that Stephanie had realised the importance of being honoured as a women as well as honouring the important female role models in her life; her mother.

The What Women Want Expo was then born from her love for her mother – her greatest role model.

Stephanie then decided to create a platform where all the things that she was most passionate about in her life could come together to assist other mothers, daughters and women in reminding themselves of their “inner goddess”.

Her love for being a women, organising unique events and sharing life experiences with close female role models created The What Women Want Expo.

The expo will be used as a platform to help women through the breast cancer ordeal as well as providing an educational platform for women from all walks of life to nourish mind, body and soul.

“There is nothing more powerful and striking than a woman who is happy in her own skin. Giving a woman what she wants creates a ripple effect in both her home and career,” said Stephanie.
