SPORTS STARS LAUNCH YOUTH FUND

WESTERN Sydney sports stars teamed-up recently for a community sports day at Mt Druitt to officially kick-off the 20th Man Youth Fund Sydney.

Sponsored by Guardian Funerals, the special event at “The Hub” featured Wests Tigers’ player Blake Austin, Michael Collins from the GWS Giants, Shaun Spence and Elijah Taylor from the Penrith Panthers and coaches from the ASA Junior Football Academy.

“The Sports Day was our inaugural community program in Western Sydney and was a great success,” the Manager of the 20th Man Youth Fund Sydney, Di Groves, said.

“Throughout the afternoon, morethan 60 children took part in a variety of sports programs, under the expert guidance of our young Western Sydney sports stars, representing Rugby League, AFL and Football.

“It proved to be a positive way of reaching out to local children and keeping them engaged in healthy lifestyles activities after school.

“The 20th Man Youth Fund Sydney would like to thank Blake Austin, the GWS Giants, the Penrith Panthers and Pat Polistina from the ASA Junior Football Academy, as well as our Foundation Sponsor Guardian Funerals, for their support of our first program in Western Sydney and we look forward to working with them as part of our upcoming community programs.”
