Open-air Cinema launches in Easter

THE Sydney Open-Air Cinema will launch on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 coinciding with the Easter School Holidays.

The cinema is the first of its kind for greater Sydney located in the historic surrounds of Heritage Park in Castle Hill.

Sydney’s newest and most exciting pop-up cinema will showcase 23 movies over 19 nights across an array of genres including new release action, thriller, comedies, children’s animated blockbusters and classics.

The Open-Air cinema offers a fully licensed bar serving up favourites from Oyster Bay Wines and a selection of premium imported beers. The fully stocked Candy Bar will offer a range of sweet temptations and much loved hot buttered popcorn.

Gelato Messina has also created two special edition choc-tops for the event, only available at Sydney Open-Air Cinema.

You won’t find soggy pies and dagwood dogs at Sydney Open-Air Cinema thanks to the team at The Tuckshop. Arguably dishing up some of the best burgers in town and plenty more.

Tuck into the street style food stall catering to the whole family with menu items such as a cheeseburger with all the trimmings served with old bay fries, or the sweet and sour chicken wings with a hint of fresh chilli that are finger licking good or something on the lighter side, a poached chicken salad with kale, avocado and roast pumpkin.

Sydney Open-Air Cinema offers something for everyone with general admission (19) and family packages (60) which include two adults, and up to four children.

For the best seat on the lawn, the Messina Gold Reserve offers premium seating on arrival and an all-inclusive package (32). Recommended for twos, snuggle up under your complimentary blanket and indulge with an exclusive gold dipped Gelato Messina choc-top, created only for Messina Gold Reserve guests.

If you are looking to make a night of it, gather a group of friends or family for the ultimate viewing experience in your own VIP Bell Tent (300).

Catering for up to six people and boasting a viewing courtyard and private butler service the tents provide the perfect combination of privacy, comfort and style. Sydney Open-Air Cinema also offers a dedicated private area for corporate group customers available for hire for groups of up to 40 guests.

Sydney Open-Air Cinema 2015 season runs from Wednesday, April 1 through to Sunday, April 19. Open throughout the entire Easter long-weekend as well as two sessions on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Closed for a private function on Monday 13th April. Gates open from 5:00pm daily with food and beverage available throughout this time, parking is free.
