Holroyd City Council has approved the upgrades which feature a new, quality restaurant and external terrace area for local families and visitors.
The internal layout of the Club will also be remodelled to provide more space and the relocation of machines and bowlers’ amenities to more suitable locations.
Holroyd City Council Mayor, Ross Grove, said the development is a big win for the local recreation and hospitality economy.
“These improvements will keep families active, locals local and draws visitors into the city,” said Mayor Grove. “These works set a clear challenge for businesses across Holroyd to continue to innovate and change, to meet the needs of our changing population.”

CEO of Guildford Leagues Club, Greg Edwards, said the club was initially developed in its current location on McCredie Park in 1955 and has been contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of the Park ever since.
“These upgrades will improve the facilities to better suit the needs of Club patrons, local families with children, the community as a whole and give our local recreation and hospitality industry a boost,” said Mr Edwards.
