Airport rail must connect the West

LAST Friday Parramatta Council and the Sydney Business Chamber will unveil plans for a new fast rail connection between Sydney, Parramatta and Badgerys Creek Airport.
PRETTY GIRL LEASES
PRETTY Girl Fashion Group, a privately owned retail fashion business located at Tempe, has leased a 3884-square-metre site, at 126 Jedda Road, Prestons, from the Melbourne Factory discount group, for 5 years, at $125 a square metre.
CHARTER'S A-GRADE ACQUISITION
CHARTER Hall Group has acquired the development rights for the A Grade building currently being built on the corner of Smith and Macquarie streets, in the Parramatta CBD. IT is 100 per cent pre-leased to Western Sydney University for 15 years and will be home to more than 10,000 students in the first semester 2017. It will have an end value of $220 million.
NEW RESTAURANT ZONE
LIVERPOOL City Council plans to revitalise the CBD by developing the southern end of Macquarie Street into a restaurant zone called Eat Street.
LUXURY RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
CONSTRUCTION of the Haven, a 79 luxury residential complex, at Solent Crescent, Bella Vista, is scheduled for April 2016 and is expected to be completed by January 2018. Haven is being developed by Mulpha Norwest, developer of Bella Vista developer of Bella Vista Waters residential estate, and the award-winning Norwest Business Park.
TOURISM WORTH $231M
PENRITH has 1.3 million annual visitors injecting $231 million into the local economy every year. Penrith City Council’s goal is to double the number of visitors and increase their spending to more than $500 million annually by 2025.
NEW COSTCO STORE
DISCOUNTER Costco Wholesale, which has outlets in Auburn and Casula, plans to open a new store at Marsden Park this year. Costco stores are three times the size of a typical supermarket, of about 14,000 square metres.
