THE Camden local government area was the fastest growing in 2014-15, according to population figures from the ABS. The rate of growth has accelerated since 2007. In 2014-2015 Camden’s, growth rate of 7.6 per cent represented an increase of 5100 persons with most of this growth occurring in new greenfield estates in suburbs such as Oran Park and Gregory Hills.
