Attraction faces its last hurdle

A MULTI-million “zoological facility” in Western Sydney has faced its last hurdle and is awaiting the decision by the NSW Government’s independent Planning Assessment Commission.

$30M FUNDING SOUGHT
CAMPBELLTOWN Council is seeking $30 million from the State Government’s Building NSW Arts and Cultural Funding for a ”world;-class” project to revitalise and expand the Campbelltown Arts Centre to include an additional gallery, an additional 320-seat theatre, more rehearsal, studio and education spaces and a new entrance.

DA FOR HOTEL WITHDRAWN
THE De Angelis Group has withdrawn its DA for the Casula 24-hour hotel development following the Independent Hearing and Assessment Panel recommendation to Liverpool City Council for refusal. The community strongly opposed the project.
