AWARDS SUCCESS FOR KPMG

Clients decide best in consulting

KPMG has been named Best Accounting Firm and Best Management Consulting Firm in the 2016 Australian Financial Review Client Choice Awards.

The awards success coincided with the firm’s first birthday celebrations to mark the opening of their Greater Western Sydney office at Parramatta.

Winners in the prestigious national awards are chosen through extensive client research by Beaton Research and Consulting.

The awards were previously the BRW Awards. In choosing winners, Beaton interviewed firms’ clients for feedback on service.

Beaton surveyed the clients of all firms that enter the Awards, gathering responses from actual buyers and users of professional services, including business owners, chief executives, chief financial officers, senior public and private sector line managers, in-house professional specialists, purchasing professionals, and a range of other buyers of professional services.

Clients are asked to rate the firms on a range of criteria. The winners are firms and individual practitioners that achieve consistently higher client ratings than their competitors and peers, respectively.

Beaton is the Asia-Pacific’s leading researchers and consultants to professional service firms.

The company says it has more experience in online research of the clients of professional services firms than any other market research consultancy in the world.

The KPMG awards were for a firm with more than $500 million revenue a year. The Awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Shangri La Hotel Sydney in March.
