The Wiggles. The Wiggles.

Man who managed the Wiggles

HILLS businessman, Mike Conway was managing director of the Wiggles Pty Ltd for more than a decade; has performed at a Rolling Stones show and been associated with Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Mike played a leading role in building The Wiggles Pty Ltd to one of the World’s most recognisable global entertainment brands selling 24 million DVDs, seven million albums and appearing on TV world-wide.

The Wiggles toured the world, feature in American and Australian multi-million dollar theme parks and are branded in retail and health food programs.

Mike Conway loves to create successful brands. “When you are creating a brand – every service, product, everything you say, do, make and the feeling associated with the brand has got to fit that highest quality,” Mike said.

Since leaving The Wiggles in June this year, he has founded two new global businesses and is working to build several entertainment brands world-wide, including Australian entertainment export dance sensation - Burn the Floor.

“Burn the Floor is now in its 10th year. It existed before Dancing with the Stars and is now the greatest live dance show in the world,” says Mike.

“It will perform at West End for 26 weeks; a long period at the very best world venue. Burn the Floor is a global success. They recently returned from Soweto, South Africa and have performed in Shanghai, China.

“I’m also representing The Penelopes, a French Rock Pop duo - Axel and Vincent, kids from the rough end of Paris, who are now based in London. They write incredible music – dance and pop.

“Once you understand how to creatively build a business brand you can take it anywhere.”

As well as global brand building, Mike is running two new businesses, Pragmata and the X-Venture Challenge.

His Pragmata vision is to revitalize individuals, teams and organisations in both business and personal life.

X-Venture Challenge combines Mike’s love of business strategy, outdoor adventure and team building with his television program experience.

On the X-Venture program, corporate teams and business people undertake a variety of physical and mental challenges and risks in Cairns, Queensland.

The program is broadcast to 32 countries on OneHD and Sky Business, Sky TV. The next series will shortly be produced for 2013 and Mike welcomes interest from possible participants.

Mike is in high demand for his creative advice and business expertise. He will be presenting at a business event at Castle Hill RSL on October 24.
