MEGA FITNESS CENTRE OPENS

Lifestyle focus for all ages

FORGET a quick class or weight training at the gym before you head off for a meal or to pick up the children.

At Atmosphere at Penrith you won’t feel like leaving - even after a long training session.

This new state-of-the-art new fitness centre spans two floors and extends across 5000 sqm. It is a mega fitness and well-being centre which appeals to young children right through to seniors.

Club manager, Dane Wiggs, says while the club is aimed at people who want to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle, Atmosphere is a place where people feel comfortable and can enjoy more activities for the whole family.

One of the biggest attractions for families is the extra-large kid’s club area where children can play safely and happily, while their parents exercise. There is also a healthy café catering for low fat and healthy meals.

The fitness centre has 110 classes ranging from yoga to Les Mills, functional training, spin, boxing right through to multi-sport classes. There is also a 50m, heated, indoor swimming pool that has squad training.

If it’s a bit of relaxation and pampering you need, then there is the day spa – Revive Urban Health Retreat for facials and massages among other treatments. To meet the needs of the clientele, the fitness centre also hosts kid’s parties.

Open for just 10 months, Atmosphere is already attracting a lot of interest from locals who are want exercise at the centre, or use some of the other facilities.

He said the concept of the fitness centre was to help people establish a healthy life for the whole family.

“We will continue to meet the needs of our growing clientele, and encourage people to come and see the centre, even if it’s just for a visit.”
