This year the event broadened its cultural base from what used to be South Asian cultural festival to a multicultural festival with 36 cultures being represented.

The colourful festival included Indian dance, African arts, Macedonian music, Thai dancing, drumming, Henna tattoos, a spice market, fashion shows by designers in Western Sydney, art and photo exhibitions and international film screenings and international cuisine.

Held at the Prince Alfred Park, Riverside Theatre and Harris Park, the event opened with Friday night street parade. Over the three days there was an astounding 46 performances, and 22 meet the artist sessions.

In addition there were other activities including ColourFun – Rangoli/Kolam Art, Magic Carpet! Presented by Community Migrant Resource Centre with kite making and nail art and hair braiding by Sudanese and Afghan artists, Adorned Exhibition and Workshops, Spice and Herb Garden and cooking demonstrations, sports hub activities – Cricket NSW, Parramatta Eel, Western Sydney Giants and Camel rides.
