PROPERTY DESIGN EXCELLENCE

New projects headline quality

LEADING Western Sydney design firm, Idraft Group (IDRAFT), has welcomed the approval of its 17-storey residential and retail tower in Harris Park, thanks to its design excellence as assessed by an expert panel.

IDRAFT Director, Frank Cozzupoli, said the apartment development was approved following recommendations from Parramatta City Council’s Design Excellence Advisory Panel (DEAP) and Design Integrity Panel.

Mr Cozzupoli, said the development, at 22 Parkes Street, consisted of 59 apartments and one retail outlet.

“We are delighted that our application has been approved on the basis that it contains a level of design excellence,” Mr Cozzupoli said.

“Led by our General Manager Michael Trinh, the IDRAFT team presented an innovative design, comprising residential and retail space, communal facilities and underground parking.

“The building will have an iconic lantern structure at the top four-storeys of the building which distinguishes it other residential developments in Harris Park.

“IDRAFT is pleased to be assisting Council in its urban renewal of the Harris Park precinct and providing a modern built form to present the region’s best face to a corridor that will continue to play a pivotal role in ongoing development.

“Our team is passionate about designing the buildings that will define Western Sydney’s future and we will continue to collaborate with our clients, Councils and key stakeholders to create win-win outcomes for all.”

IDRAFT’s other recent achievement is the Evergrand development at Rouse Hill, a 256-apartment project across four level buildings, Evergrand is centred on communal open spaces set with palm trees, swimming pool and children’s play areas.

Mr Cozzupoli, said the design reflected an increased demand for apartment living in The Hills, from downsizers and the first home buyer market wanting quality homes with low maintenance lifestyle.

“This design allows residents to live in high-quality apartments, with beautifully designed communal spaces, conveniently located near amenities such as schools, shops and transport,” Mr Cozzupoli explained.

“These sleek, modern apartments have been designed to make the most of the building aspect, allowing residents to enjoy plenty of natural lighting and alfresco entertaining all year round, with dedicated green zones adding to the amenity of the development.

“Our design vision was to create a development that showcases space, light and the location’s beautiful outlook,” Mr Cozzupoli said.

"IDRAFT is proud that Evergrand is set to become one of The Hills’ most recognisable residential developments in a rapidly-growing housing market in the North West corridor.”
