Graduate school for Norwest

NORWEST Business Park could soon be home to a new graduate school of management.

The park is currently home to more than 20,000 employees and 400 businesses including Woolworths LTD, IBM, Sigma Pharmaceuticals and RESMED.

It offers a unique opportunity for graduates already working in the region to integrate further tertiary studies with their employment.

"The Norwest Graduate School will address a growing need for postgraduate studies in management and leadership, which will assist in developing a more skilled and professional work force," said Dr Taggart, Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

Three Australian Universities, who cannot be named at the time of going to press, are interested in creating an annexe Graduate School at Norwest.

"This is an exciting proposal and we have entered discussions with three established universities which will hopefully be announced in due course. If successful, the Norwest Graduate School will just be another reason to live and work in The Hills," said David Elliott, Member for Baulkham Hills.
